Goldbeck Parking Services GmbH (GPS) takes over “Verkehrswacht Parkplatz GmbH“, one of the leading German parking space management companies. This follows the acquisition of OPG Center Parking GmbH in 2016 meaning the second major step in its process of growth.

The merger allows for a larger area of coverage and customers of both companies to benefit in future from further parking space management offers all across Germany.

The event and exhibition business is a core competence of the “Verkehrswacht“ which opens up a new field of interesting and important business opportunities for Goldbeck Parking Services.

Managing the urban parking spaces in Düsseldorf fired the starting pistol for the “Verkehrswacht Parkplatz GmbH“ in 1966. One of the company’s special expertise amongst others is maintenance of car park facilities at big events and exhibitions. For example the biggest fun fair on the Rhine, various events at the Düsseldorf Tonhalle, the open air cinema or the trade fairs “boot“ and "Caravan Salon“.
