Only a few days after the official opening of the new capital city airport Berlin Brandenburg "Willy Brandt" (BER) on October 31, 2020, the car park "Northgate" in gatelands Businesspark Kienberg in the immediate vicinity of the airport will also be put into operation.

After GOLDBECK built the public car park with more than 1,500 parking spaces on twelve half levels within 15 months, GOLDBECK Parking Services GmbH will now take over the management of the property. The lease agreement with the owner PARCADIA BER Projekt GmbH covers a term of 20 years.

The "Northgate" parking garage is equipped with the most modern technical standards and offers its users an innovative parking concept. Travelers have the option of "pre-booking", whereby parking spaces can be reserved online in advance for the duration of a trip. The customer then receives a QR code by e-mail and can either save it on their mobile device or print it out. In addition to the option of scanning the QR code for entry and exit, license plate recognition enables convenient access to the parking garage on request. In addition to passengers, long-term parkers at the gatelands Businesspark Kienberg also have the option of booking a permanent parking space. In addition, short-term parking spaces are available for visitors.
