Collection of own location data
Our app only collects your location with your consent in order to use your current position as your start/destination or to determine stops in the vicinity. Your current location is only used on your device to identify stops in your vicinity and to request the current departures for these stops. If access to the location has been enabled, a transmission will be made to our server so that all stations in the vicinity of the location can be displayed.

When the data is transferred to the server, it is therefore no longer known that this is your current location. The collection and transmission will only take place if you grant our app the appropriate permissions. The data is only used and stored volatilely in order to determine the requested information and to enable an appropriate error analysis (see section "Time of deletion"). You can disable access to the location data in the device settings.
Transmission of the IP address

Transmission of the IP address

This happens regardless of whether Google provides a user account through which you are logged in or whether a user account exists. Within our app, IP anonymisation has been activated so that the IP address of Google users within member states of the European Union or in other states that are party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area is shortened and thus made anonymous. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.
Google is committed to complying with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Agreement published by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the processing of personal data from EU member states.
